Four Takeover Baseball 11U Pitchers Team Up In Shutout Victory Against Hillsborough Aces
Takeover Baseball 11U defeated Hillsborough Aces 6-0 on Saturday as four pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Takeover Baseball 11U got things moving in the first inning, when Aaron Corcoran reached on a walk and later scored when Nicholas Wells singled to right on a 0-1 count. Hillsborough Aces travel ball team had an opputunity to score in the third inning with men on first and third but Jase Sousa made a great catch to end the inning. Takeover Baseball 11U put up three runs in the fourth inning when Geogre DeTorres led off the inning with a walk, then stole second, was advanced to third by a ground ball by Aaron Corcoran, then scored on single by Dylan Ianiero who later scored on a passed ball. Brooks Lunger also reached base in the inning on a single to left and later scored on a single by Luke Jones. Takeover Baseball 11U put the game away in the top of the sixth when Dlyan Ianiero singled to left scoring Daniel Ianiero who reached on a basehit and Brooks Lunger had a RBI walk scoring George DeTorres who also reached on a walk. Dylan Ianiero led Takeover Baseball 11U with two hits in two at bats. Takeover Baseball 11U was terrific in the field and didn't commit a single error in the field.
