Big Fifth Inning Propels Takeover Baseball 12U To Victory Over East Brunswick. Takeover Baseball 12U scored eight runs in the fifth on its way to an 11-1 victory over East Brunswick on Sunday. Julian McLaughin, Luke Barry, Dylan Holmberg, Aaron Corcoran, Jake Abrams, and Trey Lyerly all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Takeover Baseball 12U opened up scoring in the first inning when Kyle Malchiodi homered on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs. Takeover Baseball 12U tallied eight runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by Takeover Baseball 12U was led by Julian, Luke, Dylan , Aaron, Jake , and Trey, all driving in runs in the frame. Nicholas Wells took the win for Takeover Baseball 12U. The fireballer surrendered one run on four hits over five innings, striking out nine and walking zero.
