Takeover Baseball Camp Announcement
We are excited to announce that this year's Takeover Baseball Camps are partnering with Middlesex High School Head Baseball Coach Blaze Iannetti! Coach Iannetti brings passion, championship experience, and a strong commitment to developing young athletes.
Joining him is Coach Justin Nastasi, current Assistant Coach at Hillsborough High School and former Head Coach at Middlesex High School. Together, Coach Iannetti and Coach Nastasi bring a wealth of experience, championship pedigrees, and a proven track record of developing players who succeed at the high school, college, and even professional levels. This summer’s camps will provide players with high-level instruction, skill development, and a competitive but fun environment designed to help athletes reach their full potential. Whether you're looking to improve your hitting, fielding, pitching, or overall baseball IQ—these camps are for you.

Justin Nastasi - Camp Director
Justin is currently a varsity baseball coach at Hillsborough High School. Prior to joining Hillsborough, he served as the Head Varsity Coach at Middlesex High School, where he established himself as one of the most successful coaches in the state. Over his first five seasons as head coach, Justin led Middlesex to an impressive 103-45 record. In 2018, his team was ranked #9 in New Jersey, a testament to his leadership and player development. Under his guidance, Middlesex captured 2 Group 1 State Championships, 4 Central Jersey State Sectional Titles, and 2 Blue Division Titles. Numerous players he coached have gone on to play at the collegiate level, with some advancing to professional baseball.
Before taking over as head coach, Justin spent eight years as the assistant and pitching coach, during which the team won 6 Blue Division Titles, 1 County Championship, and 2 State Championships. As a player, Justin had a standout career. A three-year letter winner at Union High School, he served as the ace of the pitching staff and helped lead his team to a sectional final. He was also a member of the New Jersey Riptide, who finished 4th nationally at the 1999 AAU Nationals. Justin continued his playing career at Kean University, where he contributed to the program’s first-ever NJAC Championship. With a proven track record of success both on the field and in player development, Justin brings passion, knowledge, and a championship mindset to every team he leads.

Blaze Iannetti - Camp Director / Middlesex Head Baseball Coach
Blaze is the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Middlesex High School, where he leads the program with passion, energy, and a deep connection to the school’s proud baseball tradition. A Middlesex alumnus himself, Blaze has dedicated his career to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Since joining the coaching staff, Blaze has helped guide Middlesex to remarkable success, including two Group 1 State Championships in 2017 and 2018. Now at the helm of the program, he continues to build on that championship legacy with a focus on discipline, teamwork, and player development.
As a player, Blaze was a two-year varsity letter winner at Middlesex and was honored with the Cal Ripken Jr. Award his senior year, recognizing his dedication and leadership. After high school, he attended Mitchell College, where he helped the team capture two NECC Championships, compete in two NCAA Regional Tournaments, and contribute to the most successful season in program history with 32 wins. Blaze posted a career .323 batting average and earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Blaze is committed to helping his players succeed on the field, in the classroom, and in life—continuing a legacy of excellence at Middlesex High School.
