Takeover Baseball 11U defeated Scotch Plains 5-4 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. George DeTorres got Takeover Baseball 11U started in the first inning when he singled, then stole second, and later scored on a Nicholas Wells ground ball. Takeover tacked on another run in the third when George DeTorres led the inning off with a ball up the middle and later scored on a Brook Lunger sacrifice fly.
