Takeover Baseball 13U lost the lead late in a 10-3 defeat to CK Cardinals 13U on Saturday.
Takeover Baseball came out of the gate right away when Santino Cignarella led off the game with a walk and Brody Henderson followed with a base hit to left both players scored on hits by Paul Serra and Gavin Arieno. CK Cardinals 13U travel tied the game in the second scoring a run, then opened up in the fifth. Paul Serra started on the mound for Takeover Baseball 13U, he lasted four and a third innings, allowing five hits and seven runs while striking out three. Brody Henderson threw two-thirds of an inning out of the bullpen. Mark Ward, Serra, Henderson , Arieno, and Mark Marsigliano each managed one hit to lead Takeover Baseball 13U. Takeover Baseball 13U didn't commit a single error in the field. Lunden Chadwell had the most chances in the field with six.
