Takeover Baseball 13U Fight Hard But Fall To Upper Deck Baseball

Takeover Baseball 13U mounted a charge in the seventh inning but it wasn't enough to defeat Upper Deck travel baseball team on Saturday. Gavin Corcoran started on the mound for Takeover Baseball 13U and pitched three innings of one hit baseball allowing three runs, none of them earned. In the third inning Takeover Baseball had an oppurtunity to cut the deficient to two runs when Liam Gallagher hit a two out single up the middle with Santino Cignarella, who reached on a double to left but was thrown out at the plate. Max Romonak came in relief who threw a terrific four innings allowing one run on one hit while striking out five. Takeover Baseball 13U in the bottom of the seven, down by four, scored three runs when Donovan Epps, Mark Ward, and Mark Marsigliano all had RBIs in the inning. Takeover Baseball 13U lost despite out-hitting Upper Deck nine to two which was led Gavin Arieno
