Takeover Baseball 14U won a high scoring match-up against the Diamond Stud Club baseball team. Takeover scored 5 runs in the second inning when Donovan Epps and Gavin Corcoran singled, then back to back RBI singles by Paul Serra and Lunden Chadwell and later in the inning Mark Marsigliano followed with an RBI single. In the fifth Takeover Baseball scored another three runs when Liam Gallagher hit a double scoring Mark Ward who reached on an error, and Gavin Arieno followed with a double scoring Liam Gallagher. Takeover was down one run in the bottom of sixth inning, Gavin Corcoran led off the inning with a walk and later scored on a base hit by Anthony Torres. The game was put away by Takeover Baseball 14U when Mark Marsigliano grounded out, scoring two runs. Owen Reynolds led Takeover Baseball 14U to victory on the mound. The pitcher went one inning, allowing two runs on one hit, striking out one and walking one. Matt Cichoki and Gavin Corcoran both pitched scoreless relief to help get the win.
