Takeover Baseball Claims Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat NJ Jays

Takeover Baseball took the lead late and defeated NJ Jays 6-3 on Saturday. The game was tied at three with Takeover Baseball batting in the bottom of the sixth when Santino Cignarella started the inning off with a walk and then stealing second. Max Romanok followed with a double to take the lead by one and then Gavin Arienio tripled, scoring one run. In the first inning, NJ Jays got their offense started on a single, scoring one run then scored one run in the top of the second, Takeover Baseball answered with one of their own when Jack Shannon drew a walk, scoring one run. Liam Gallagher was the winning pitcher for Takeover Baseball, he allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out one. Max Romanok recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Takeover Baseball.
