Takeover Baseball claimed a 13-3 victory on Sunday, despite a push by Carteret Nighthawks in the first inning. Down 3-0 in the bottom of the second inning, Takeover Baseball tied things up at three. The inning was started off by Liam Gallagher and Lunden Chadwell who both singled then Mark Ward and Kyle Bare drove in runs when they singled. Takeover Baseball pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning, Gavin Arieno singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring Santino Cignarella then Paul Serra singled, scoring Gavin Arieno, and Lunden Chadwell had a 2 RBI single.
