Takeover Baseball 13U defeated the East Brunswick Vipers 5-2 on Saturday. Takeover Baseball 13U got out early when Gavin Arieno had an RBI sac fly scoring Santino Cignrella who reached on a single. Then in the second inning, Liam Gallagher crushed a double to right and later scored when Lunden Chadwell doubled on the first pitch of the at bat. Takeover Baseball 13U took the lead for good with three runs in the fourth inning when Brody Henderson singled, then Max Romanok singled scoring Brody Henderson, Lunden Chadwell singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring Gavin Arieno, who singled and Liam Gallagher, who walked. Lunden Chadwell earned the win for Takeover Baseball 13U, went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out four. Max Romanok threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
