Bio

Blaze Iannetti is the head baseball coach at Middlesex High School, where he helped continue the program’s winning tradition by leading the Blue Jays to the 2025 Group 1 State Championship in his first year at the helm — earning GMC Coach of the Year honors. He also serves as an assistant coach with Takeover Baseball, contributing to player development year-round.

A Middlesex alum, Blaze was a two-year varsity starter and Cal Ripken Jr. Award recipient. He went on to play collegiately at Mitchell College, where he batted .323 and helped the team win two NECC Championships and reach the NCAA Regional Tournament for the first time in program history.

Before becoming head coach, Blaze worked as a JV and varsity assistant under Justin Nastasi, contributing to four sectional titles and two Group 1 State Championships (2017, 2018). Known for his energy, leadership, and deep understanding of the game, Blaze is a rising star in the coaching world who builds strong player relationships and champions a culture of discipline, confidence, and championship effort.

“Where Champions Build Champions” isn’t just a motto — it’s how Blaze coaches every day.
