Paul Crivello

Monmouth Regional High School Varsity Head Coach
Bio
Paul Crivello is the dedicated head baseball coach at Monmouth Regional High School, currently entering his 10th season in that role and marking his 21st year in education as a Health and Physical Education teacher.
A former standout at Somerville High School, Paul was not only a team captain but also earned All-State, All-County, and All-Area honors. He pitched the only perfect game in school history and was inducted into the Somerville Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.
Continuing his playing career at Middlesex County College, Paul was team captain and topped the nation with a stellar .540 batting average, earning All-Conference, All–Mid-Atlantic, and All-American honors. He finished his collegiate career at Kean University, again serving as captain and posting a remarkable .415 career batting average, ranking second all-time at the school.
Though invited to major-league tryouts and offered an independent-league contract, Paul chose to pursue his passion for teaching and coaching.

Assistant coach at Monmouth Regional (2002–2012); led JV for nine seasons

Contributed to five Umpires’ Sportsmanship Awards, a Group 3 State Sectional title in 2005, and the overall Group 3 State Championship

Credited with Monmouth’s Central Jersey Group II sectional title in 2013
Since becoming head coach in 2015, Paul has guided the Falcons to two Division Championships (2015 & 2017), earning Shore Conference B‑North Coach of the Year in 2017.
In summer baseball, he led Monmouth County American Legion teams to a perfect 17–0 season and league title in 2007, and was named Monmouth County Assistant Coach of the Year in 2012.
