Takeover 12U Goes 4-0 In USABL World Series Qualifying Tournament

Dom Long didn't allow a single run against NY Prospects, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Takeover Baseball 11U to a 10-0 victory on Sunday. Takeover Baseball 11U got on the board in the first inning when Ty Kane lined out, driving in a Luke Barry who reached on a hit. Dominick Long helped his cause by hitting a double driving in Dylan Holmberg. Takeover Baseball 11U tallied five runs in the second inning, the offensive firepower Takeover Baseball 11U was led by Luke Barry, Dylan Holmberg, Ty Kane , and Dom Long, all driving in runs in the frame. Dom Long was credited with the victory for Takeover Baseball 11U. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out eight and walking one. Takeover Baseball 11U socked one home run on the day. Dom Long put one out in the second inning. Takeover Baseball 11U totaled nine hits in the game. Luke Barry and Dom Long all managed multiple hits for Takeover Baseball 11U. Takeover Baseball 11U didn't commit a single error in the field. Jake Abrahams had the most chances in the field with eight. Takeover Baseball 11U tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Luke Barry led the way with three. Takeover 12U went 4-0 in the tournament, only allowing 1 run. With the win Takeover as qualified for the USABL World Series in August.
