Takeover Baseball 11U With Walk-Off Victory Over Middlesex Blue Jays 11U


Takeover Baseball 11U had a dramatic walk off victory over Middlesex Blue Jays 11U on Monday night.  Takeover Baseball 11U came to the plate in the top of the fourth down two, when Dylan Ianiero reached by a walk, then stole second and scored on a basehit to left by Brooks LangerTakeover Baseball 11U tied it when Nicholas Wells crushed a line drive to right scoring Brooks Lunger. Aaron Feath came in to relieve Dylan Ianiero, who threw 2 innings allowing three hits and two runs while walking zero.  Feath threw three solid innings allowing no runs on three hits, striking out three with one walk. Takeover took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Patrick Schwarz  reached on a error then scored on a line drive to left by Aaron Feath.  After Middlesex tied the game in the top of the seventh, Takeover Baseball 11U came to the plate. George DeTorres started it off with a single, then stole second, then Aaron Corcoran laid a perfect bunt down the third base line for a hit.  Dylan Ianiero followed with a infield single, George DeTorres scored on a misplayed infield fly by Brook Lunger. Takeover Baseball 11U played terrific defense with huge plays by Luke Barry who made a sliding catch saving a run and George DeTorres threw out the go ahead run trying to steal second and was helped by a amazing pick by short stop Patrick Schwarz. Aaron Corcoran was credited with the win coming out the bullpen.  Jase Sousa, Aaron Feath, Luke Jones, George DeTorres, Brooks Lunger, Dylan Ianiero , Aaron Corcoran, and Nicholas Wells each collected one hit to lead Takeover Baseball 11U.
